During my 7-year career as a professional translator, I have had the opportunity to handle a wide variety of documents from many fields. Focusing on accuracy, constistency and speed, my goal is to deliver a translated document as close to the clients' requirements as possible. As far as medical and pharmaceutical translation is concerned, which is my main field of specialization, I have collaborated and continue to work with major pharmaceutical, research and other scientific companies. The scope of my work is translating and editing of clinical trial protocols, consent forms, specification sheets, regulatory documents, marketing material, and other relevant documents.

Experience in Technical Texts

Due to my constant involvement with computers and technology in general (mainly in the form of Web Design and Search Engine Optimization), I am also specialized in texts from those fields. I have collaborated and still work with major IT corporations and translation agencies from Greece and all over Europe. The scope of my work is translating and editing of software and hardware manuals, data sheets, technical reports, designs, marketing material, and other relevant documents. Bearing in mind the ever changing technological environment, I always try to stay in touch with all current evolutions in those fields as well as with the relevant terminology. My experience in the IT domain is also wide, with projects that consist of many thousands of words.

Experience in Financial Texts

Apart from my main fields of specialization (medical/pharmaceutical & computers/IT), I have also had the opportunity to handle documents from the financial, constructions and automotive domains. Due to the specificity of the above mentioned domains, I make sure to use all the appopriate tools (specialized printed and electronic dictionaries, journals, encyclopedias) in order to be able to meet the requirements of every client. The scope of my work is translating and editing of voluminous technical documents, design descriptions, car user manuals and other relevant documents, as well as balance sheets, yearly statements, contracts, news bulletins and other documents as far as the business sector is concerned.
